A civil law trial practice since 1986 in Harris, Ft. Bend, Brazoria, Montgomery and Galveston counties with a primary focus on family law litigation, probate/guardianship litigation and basic estate planning services. Practice is experienced in collaborative family law and mediation.

Before joining Trey’s office as an Associate, Mike gained extensive experience in family law by successfully representing clients in jury trials, bench trials, and at mediation. Prior to entering private practice, Mike was an Assistant Attorney General where he represented medical providers and other state employees in civil litigation in both trial and appellate courts throughout the State of Texas. Before that, he was a small town prosecutor where he prosecuted all levels of felonies including murder and child abuse. He was also responsible for obtaining protective orders on behalf of victims of domestic violence.
